:-) I also updated my s/w to 2.30, interestingly enough when I spark up the Icom Remote Utility, it still shows 2.20. Ironically I'm also the IT guy, so I brought this all upon myself and I won't make exceptions. Unfortunately I can uninstall this update, but because my work PC is managed by IT, the update immediately gets reinstalled. It was after this update applied that my RS-BA1 became pooched. Check your installed updates and look for KB5000736 which is Feature Update to Windows 10 21H1 via Enablement Package.
All colors can be customized via the built-in User-Defined Color Editor or by specifying a custom stylesheet.I had the exact same thing happen after Windows updated my remote system (IE the machine I use to remotely connect to the home base server instance).

On the IC-7300 (and other non-network rigs), wfview can serve as a USB to Ethernet “bridge”, connecting the IC-7300 to the network for remote control and live streaming full-duplex audio using another instance of wfview on a remote computer. Special care was taken in the creation of the network code for very low latency audio - ideal for general QSOs as well as time-sensitive modes such as FT8 and JT65. On rigs with built-in network interfaces (such as the IC-705, IC-7610, IC-7850, IC-R8600, and IC-9700), live audio streaming is available for both receive and transmit. Wfview provides the user with controls that may be comfortably operated from a keyboard, mouse, or touch screen interface.
